The main lodge at Nedile, with its African theme, comprises a bar, dining room and comfortable lounge, and invites guests to sit back, relax and take in the peace and tranquillity of the surroundings, all while experiencing the warmth of South African hospitality.
Accommodation
Nedile’s five luxury suites have been positioned perfectly between rocky outcrops on a north-facing slope, and are complimented by breathtaking views of the Waterberg Mountains. Each suite has been designed for complete privacy, relaxation, and comfort, and features a private veranda with magnificent, uninterrupted views, fireplace, indoor and outdoor showers, ceiling fan, and an invitingly luxurious bathroom. Two of the suites may be used as family units with an interleading entrance hall.
Cuisine
Mealtimes at Nedile are always an indulgence, whether taken in the elegant dining area or under the stars, around the campfire in the rock boma. The delectable cuisine at Nedile has been inspired by the various enchanting flavors of Africa, impeccably fused with complementary tastes from around the globe. On a daily basis, guests are guaranteed sumptuous meals and refreshments, prepared with only the freshest local produce available, by the resident Executive Chef.
Stargazing and Helicopter Rides
Morning and evening game drives, and guided bush walks are conducted by experienced game rangers, leading guests into the wild beauty of the Welgevonden Game Reserve. Once safely back at the lodge, an inviting rock swimming pool overlooks the valley below. By nightfall, guests can enjoy stargazing by the flickering light of lanterns. Learn about the different constellations, from Orion and Taurus in the summer to Scorpio in the winter, with the Southern Cross to guide us. Understand more about the ocean of twinkling lights in the heavens above, including stories about the stars from an African perspective. Especially adventurous travellers will enjoy helicopter rides in the Nedile helicopter.
